David William Watt

David W. Watt,(Age 83)Camp Springs, Md., beloved father and grandfather, died Thursday, September 23, 2004. He was born February 24, 1921, in Maple Hill, Kan., to David and Katherine Watt.Mr. Watt worked fo the Department of Defense in Topeka, Kansas and for four other states. He served in World Wall II and Korean War. He married his wife, Ramona, on October 16, 1948, with whom he lelocated through out various states in military and civilian service. His final home was Camp Springs, where he had resided since 1968. Mr. Watt was active in the VFW as a volunteer, participant and supporter, and he served as post commander. He also was a member of the American Legion.He was preceded in death by his, wife, Ramona, his parents and a brother.He is survived by a daughter, Monica May of Dunkirk, Md.;two sons, David Ray of Lilburn, Ga.,and Kevin Joe of Camp Springs,Md.,a son-a-law, James May; a daughter-in-law, Pam Watt; two grandchildren, Christy and Michael May; and a host of other relatives and friends.Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 11331 Amherst Ave., Silver Spring, MD., 20902.
