Public School system, after high school he went on to join the United States Navy, from there he went on to start his career at the U.S. Printing Office and held several jobs in the U.S. Government ending his career at the U.S. Navy Yard in Washington D.C. on January 3, 2017, after 35 years of service. He gave his life to God and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Sunday November 12, 2017, at Crownsville assembly hall and he was very proud to be apart of the organization. Denard was very close to his nieces and nephews and his grandchildren and great grandchildren whom all loved and respected him. They had their moments just as any family would, but one thing remained the same at the end of each day (He was still their “Pop Pop”) and “Uncle Nardie”. All who knew him had the same comments (One of a kind). He was known for helping anyone in need from family to neighbors and even strangers. Before he became ill his favorite past time was spending time with his family on weekends cooking on the grill. He loved spending time in his backyard with his grandchildren and nieces and nephews, and most of all going out in field service with his friends. All who knew him knew that he loved God and God’s name was Jehovah. His favorite reading scriptures were the 23 Psalms in the book of Job. Although he was ill, his focus remained on God and his family’s well-being. Our hearts are heavy, but we are happy to have had him in our lives to have the chance to see him again.
