Dianne Ewing Pritchett

Dianne Ewing Pritchett, 82, of Upper Marlboro MD passed away on November 22,2022.

Born January 28^th 1940 in Frostburg MD, she was the daughter of the late Robert D and Grace (Hochard) Ewing.

Dianne graduated from Beall High School in 1958. She graduated from Frostburg State College in 1961 with a degree in teaching.  During her time at FSC she was a member of Phi Omicron Delta and then Alpha Xi Delta Fraternity.

She spent her career teaching in Prince Georges County Junior high and Middle Schools. In her spare time she loved doing needlework, reading and gardening. Christmas was Dianne’s favorite holiday, as she loved decorating every corner of her house at this time of year.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Margaret Idabelle Neilson and brother Jack Ewing.

Surviving are her husband of over 40 years, Norman L. Pritchett, Upper Marlboro, MD stepsons Daniel Pritchett (Doris), St. Leonard, MD, Donald Pritchett, Brandywine, MD, niece, Rebecca Neilson, Bowie, MD, nephews Eric Ewing (Renee), California, and Jack D. Ewing (Cathy), Frostburg, MD, 4 grandchildren, Rachel, Elizabeth, Matthew Pritchett and Taylor York (Megan) and one great grandchild, Paisley York.
