Donald Lee Allen Sr

Donald Lee Allen, Sr. passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2016 in Dunkirk, MD Don was born on September 11, 1948, to the late Thurston Power and Eva Virginia Allen. Don was preceded in death by his loving wife of 43 years, Diane. He is survived by his daughter, Virginia Lee Allen-Anderson; his son, Donald Lee Allen, Jr.; his son-in-law, Brian Thomas Anderson; his daughter-in-Law, Alexandra Radha Allen; his granddaughters, Courtney, Shelby, and Makenzie Anderson; his sister, Linda Diane Sheldon; his sister-in-law, Patricia Allen; and many close friends and family. Don was a devoted husband, father, and friend; as well as a hard working businessman. Leaving school early to pursue a career he was passionate about, Don worked his way through several independent repair shops and automobile dealers before starting Don Allen Servicenter at the age of 24. Don grew his business into multiple locations and he was active in the business until his passing. Don enjoyed many pursuits including boating, automobile racing, restoring antique cars, playing golf, and spending time with friends and family.
