MAJ. DONALD J. SISK, (US AIR FORCE) (RET)After a long illness at his home surrounded by family on December 4, 2008. Don served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and later served in the U.S. Air Force as a Fighter Pilot during the Vietnam conflict. He was a decorated war hero earning honors such as the Air Medal, the Bronze Star Medal and two Purple Hearts. He flew over 140 missions and retired at the rank of Major. He gave 34 years of his life to his country in both military and civilian service.Don is survived by his daughter Lindee Norton and her husband David Norton of Bristow, Va; sons Thomas and Mark Sisk of Tampa, Fl; daughter Sandee Fenters of Tampa, Fl; brother Ralph and his wife Myrna Sisk of Southbury, CT; sister Adria Miner of Naples, Fl; nine grandchildren Caden Norton, Braylin Norton, Camden Norton, Joshua Fenters, Sherri Fenters, Angel Sisk, Tommy Sisk, Susie Sisk and Ian Sisk; and three great-grandchildren.
