Donald David Solano passed away July 27th, 2017 after suffering from many ailments. Don was born on September 12, 1953 in Bethesda Naval Hospital to parents Florentina Solano and Arthur Solano. Our beloved family member was called to the Lord on July 27th, 2017. Don worked for Sunnybrook Tavern for over 40 years. He was beloved by many Customers and Friends. Don was an avid Redskins fan but particularly loved baseball and the Washington Nationals. Don loved music - always loved hearing music daily. Don always looked out for others rather them himself and was a great provider for his immediate family. He was quite content on making sure family was the first and foremost; even if it meant him doing without. Donald is survived by his Nephew and Godson, Brandon Solano (whom he cherished until his death), Siblings, Jeannette (Jimmy), Laura (Tim), Ted and Barbara. Nieces and Nephews Ann Marie (Bob). Isabel and Danny, as well as a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, relatives and friends. Don had a very dry sense of humor and if you did not know him, then you did not get his sense of humor; but he cherished all of the regular persons he encountered every day. Don will always be in our thoughts and prayers and we take comfort that he is now with our Father, The Lord. The family would like to thank everyone that has shown support to our family and kind words for Don during this most difficult time.
