After giving it her best fight (as she always gave her best in everything she did), Donna lost her battle with cancer and passed away peacefully in the home she loved, surrounded by the family who loved her. Donna was born in Washington, DC to Clyde S. and Rosie M. Billman. She was the beloved wife of Allen T. Stevenson, with whom she celebrated her 37th wedding anniversary in November 2015. Donna had a very generous and giving heart. She donated countless hours over the years to Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home. Everyone who was fortunate enough to know her was left a better person for the contact they had with her. She was a compassionate person who was always taking care of others, but she was also known for her humor and wit. Donna loved living in Amish country and her favorite places to be were Lancaster, PA, Disneyworld and anywhere she was surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Donald Billman and is survived by two brothers, Dennis (Barbara) Billman and David (Belinda) Billman, and four children, Jana Kellett, Laura (Benjamin) Conner, Kevin (Brenda) Stevenson and Michael Stevenson. Donna was a loving and devoted grandmother to Taylor, Amber, Hailey and Luke. In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Donna’s honor to Foundation for Women’s Cancer at www.foundationforwomenscancer.org/ways-to-give/tribute-and-memorial-donations/ .
