Doris Ann Eggleston was born March 30,1935. She passed away peacefully on
March 11, 2024, with family by her side. Born and raised in Washington, DC to Everette Franklin and May Irene Eggleston, she graduated from Northwestern High School. She worked for the Federal Government for 44 years, retiring from the Dept. of Health and Human Services in the early 2000's. Known to everybody as "Aunt Doris", she was like a second mother to many.
Beloved sister of the late Frances "Faye" Beard , Doris is survived by her niece Patricia A. Michelizzi, nephews Michael J. Beard, Robert F. Beard and Gregory a Beard (Veronica), grandnephews Michael A. Michelizzi (Courtney), Joseph V. Michelizzi (Lisa), Nicholas F. Roberts and grandniece Valerie G. Beard, and great grandnephew Vincenzo G. Michelizzi.
She dedicated her life to others and will be forever be in our hearts.
