Doris Marie Federline

Doris Marie Federline, 92, of Lusby, Maryland, passed away quietly November 30, 2022. Doris
was born on February 13, 1930, in Washington, D.C. along with her twin sister, Dolores. She
retired from NASA / Goddard Space Flight Center in 1988 and went on to enjoy life with her
husband, M. Francis Federline. She leaves behind her son, Ted E. Norton and daughter, Donna
M. Kines (Archie), 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Doris loved to crochet and was working on one of her famous baby sweaters at the time of her
passing. She loved being surrounded by her family, and we’ll all miss fun times at Grandma’s
house on the water, especially during the summer.

Upon her request, a private gravesite burial will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery on Thursday,
December 8, 2022.
