Dorothy H. Allen

Dorothy H. Allen of Hyattsville, MD, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2019, at the age of 87. She was born on February 14, 1932, in Davis, WV to Emma [Braun] and John Hall. Dorothy was the sister of seven siblings, who all predeceased her. Dorothy enjoyed sewing, cooking, collecting vintage glass and antiquities, but spending time with her family gave her the greatest joy. She really loved spoiling grandchildren and she was really good at it! She was the beloved wife of Francis N. Allen and the loving mother of Gerald Stephen Allen, Donald Francis Allen and Charlotte Allen Dahlberg (Pete). Dorothy was the devoted grandmother of Emily Elizabeth, John Sanders, Emmah and Nicholas Dahlberg. She is also survived by numerous other family and friends.
