Dorothy Marie Underwood

Dorothy Marie Underwood born March 26, 1929 in Sumter, South Carolina. She passed away peacefully at her home in Accokeek Maryland on March 14, 2018 at the age of 88. She left this world to continue her legacy in her eternal home in heaven. She was the daughter of the late Robert Johnson and Ollie Richards. She was a homemaker, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She enjoyed laughing and having a good time with her family and friends. She also liked to dance and listen to good old country music. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her four children David (Janie), Joseph, Thomas(Vicki), and Rebecca (David) two adopted daughters Loretta (Jerry), and Anne. One Brother Charles Johnson. She is preceded in death by her brothers Robert E. Johnson, Richard M. Johnson, Bobby Johnson, Lee Johnson, sisters Katherine Johnson and Annie Rose Johnson. She is survived by fourteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Donations can be made to hospice of the Chesapeake.
