Dorothy Maureen Walters

Dorothy Walters, Age 99, of LaPlata, MD, passed away on January 1, 2014. Mrs. Walters retired from the Census Bureau in 1974. She was the daughter of the late Caroline and Charles P. Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex W. Walters; siblings, Madelyn Ragucci, Mildred Berman, Caroline Kaner, Charles A. Smith, Ann Weiss and Nicolas Smith. She leaves to cherish her memory her children; Jerry Walters and his wife Rita, Carol Jean Rose and her husband Ronald, James Walters and is late wife June. Her surviving siblings include; Virginia Zuno (Tony), Rosemarie Hunter (William), Anthony Smith (Theresa) and a sister-in-law, Helen Smith. Mrs. Walters is also survived by six grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
