DOROTHEA M. ALLWINE"Our special angel that walked amongst us" age 77 of Pickerington, Ohio at O.S.U. Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio went to be with the Lord on January 18, 2007. The beloved wife of the late John D. "Jack" Allwine; loving mother of Susan (Thomas) Jones of Pickerington, Ohio, Deborah Allwine of Columbus, Ohio, David, Raymond and John Allwine, all of Maryland; grandmother of Michael (Amanda) Jones, Dawn Almanzar, David (Donna) Allwine, Jr., Denise (Michael) Gamble, Samuel and Benjamin Trujillo; sister of Robert "Bob" (Carol) Fastnaught; great-grandmother of 14; a host of nieces, nephews and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert E. and Iva May (Butler) Fastnaught and grandson Daniel Allwine. Mrs. Aliwine was a beloved mom and grandma who will be greatly missed. She was a retired secretary for Rosecroft Race Track in Oxon Hill, MD and and active member of Peace United Church and Senior Center in Pickerington, Ohio. She had a great love for dogs, cats and all animals. Viewing will be held at LEE FUNERAL HOME, INC., Branch Ave. and Coventry Way, Clinton, MD on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m., where funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2007 at 10 a.m. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
