Edith May Miller

Edith May Miller (Nee Grove) Longtime resident of Upper Marlboro, MD went to be with the Lord on October 12, 2004 in the comfort of her home with her family by her side. Mrs. Miller was born on April 12, 1918 to the late Francis J. and Mary F. Grove and was raised in St. Peter's Parish in S.E. DC. Edith was a long time employee of the Hot Shoppe at 15th and H Streets N.W. from which she retired in 1973. She is survived by her children, Mary F. Hughes, Michael J. O'Brien, Edward T. DeNeale, III, Theresa G. Arnaud and Jacqueline M. McDougall and devoted grandmother to Jack M., Erik, Thomas, Michael T., Melanie, Catherine Anne, Samantha, Patricia,Michael J., Jamey, Jennifer, Edward, Michael W., Jack P. and 19 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her brother, Richard E. Grove and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husbands, Jack M. Miller, Edward T. DeNeale, II and Francis J. O'Brien, Jr. Visitation will be held at Lee Funeral Home Branch Ave. and Coventry Way Clinton, MD on October 14, 2004 from 2-4 and 6-8PM. Mass od Christian Burial will be held at 9:30AM on October 15, at St. Mary of the Assumption, 14908 Main Street, Upper Marlboro, MD. Interment following at Resurrection Cemetery Clinton, MD.
