Edna M Miller

October 13, 1928 — January 26, 2025

Edna M. Miller, a beloved matriarch and cherished friend, was born on October 13, 1928, and peacefully departed this world on January 26, 2025, leaving behind an enduring legacy of love and devotion. Edna spent her life working alongside her beloved husband, Anton "Buddy" Miller, on their farm, nurturing both crops and a vibrant flower garden that mirrored the beauty of their relationship. Their bond was one of inseparability, a testament to over 70 years of love and partnership.

Edna was the epitome of selflessness, dedicating herself wholeheartedly to her family. Recognized as the best mother in the world by her children, she was the glue that held her family together. Her patience and thoughtfulness shaped the lives of her loved ones, creating a home filled with warmth and support. Her legacy is carried forward by her adoring children: Barbara Hunter (the late Harry Pryor), Margaret Thornton (George Thornton), Brenda Gooslin (the late Robert Gooslin), Sandra Oursler (Steven Oursler), Anton Miller Jr. (Marla Miller), Richard Miller (Janet Miller), and Gayle Padgett (John Padgett). Edna cherished her 20 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, each one holding a special place in her heart.

An active member of the Catholic Daughters, Edna was known for her engaging spirit and joyous life, often relishing moments spent crabbing, boating, and enjoying the serenity of being on the water. Her hobbies reflected her love for nature and her adventurous soul.

Edna leaves behind a family grateful for her enduring influence, her unyielding strength, and the countless memories they created together. A visitation to honor her life will be held on February 13, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lee Funeral Home Inc in Clinton, MD, followed by a prayer service at 11:00 AM.

She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire all those whose lives she touched. After leaving a beautiful mark on this world, Edna has rejoined her beloved husband Buddy, together again, forever entwined in love.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to The Hospice of The Chesapeake or St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church, Clinton, MD.
