Edna Von Garlem

Edna Caribel VonGarlem passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 2, 2023. She spent a good deal of her life helping to care for her brother, Charles VonGarlem and in later years caring for her parents, Edward and Pearl VonGarlem until their deaths. 

She is predeceased by her sister, Lula Mae Hobbs and her brothers Edward VonGarlem Jr.,  Charles VonGarlem and Thomas VonGarlem. 

Edna enjoyed meeting new people and complemented everyone she met. She was always quick to document family get together’s with photos. She was known for the many Charitable foundations she supported. She is very much loved and will be missed.

She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, any donations may be made in her name to Hartland Hospice at 1976 Scotland Ave., Chambersburg, PA 17201.

The service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church at 14515 Church St. Upper Marboro Maryland on March 15, 2023 at 12 o’clock. Doors will open at 11:30. The burial will follow at the cemetery on Rectory Lane.
