Dawson, Edward L.Departed this earth on Sunday, September 23, 2001 of Owings, Maryland, formerly of Mitchellville, Maryland. He leaves behind his beloved wife Barbara of 51 years, two children, Stephen and Nancy, six grandchildren, Alice, Edward, Matthew, Kara, Samuel and Chase, 1 great-grandchild, Vanessa, and two sisters, Katherine Gomoljak of Annapolis, Maryland and Margaret Balling of Baltimore, Maryland. He was retired from The Maryland-National Capital Park And Planning Commission. After a long illness with Parkinsons disease he died at home under the care of Calvert Hospice.
