Eileen Esther Jeter

Eileen Esther Jeter, 75, of Clinton, MD passed away in the early hours of Monday, June 4, 2018. Born in Shamokin, PA to the late Rheda (Fisher) and Ned Hartman. She lived in Pennsylvania until 1965 when she moved to the DC area. In 1970 she met the love of her life when he was installing a telephone system in the office where she worked. They married in 1972 and enjoyed 45 years together. June 10th would have been their 46th wedding anniversary. Eileen enjoyed gardening, reading and of course, spending time with family (especially her grandchildren). She is survived by her loving husband, Lewis; two caring daughters, Jennifer Jeter and Erin (Randolph) Richards; three beloved grandchildren, Sydney, Karina, and Wyatt; sister-in-law Ida Jeter and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Ned Hartman and Mary Jane Agnew.
