Elijah Evans

Elijah M.D. Evans was born to Robert D. Evans and Jessica J. Cumberbatch in Cocoa Beach, Florida on March 19, 1995. Elijah’s military career started long before he put on the uniform. He joined by way of his mother and traveled the country where he made many childhood friends and touched many lives. He adopted his Uncle Rude (David Myers) in Sumter, South Carolina and met his two additional Ma’s, Ms. Lani and Ms. Valerie in Waldorf, MD. Throughout his life Elijah loved and he excelled (i.e. beat his friends and cousins) in playing sports to include his favorites, basketball and soccer. He also loved spending time with family, friends, and playing video games. Elijah attended middle school and high school in Charles County, MD. He graduated from Westlake High School in 2013 and went on to attend Morgan State University, where he studied electrical engineering. While attending Morgan State, Elijah decided to join the family business with his Mother, Step-Father, Sisters (Martika and Khanija), Brother (Earl Jr) and entered the United States Air Force on May 10, 2016. He studied vehicle maintenance in Port Hueneme, California and later relocated to Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, where he met his lovely wife Unique.They shared two adorable pets, Kisses and Mamas. Elijah is survived by his wife, Unique Evans; mother, Jessica Taylor; step-father, Earl Taylor; father, Robert Evans; grandparents, Ricardo Cumberbatch, Icela Woodall and Carol Sue Evans; siblings, Michael Evans, Martika Evans, Khanija Taylor, Earl Taylor Jr., Jasmine Taylor, and Amari Evans. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins, Mike Molinar and DeAndre Cumberbatch who are more like brothers to him. Elijah is preceded by his grandfather Robert Evans.
