On Sunday, December 15, 2019, Elizabeth “Betty” Ann [Singler] Vasco, passed into eternal rest, at the age of 84. Formerly of Stevensville and Annapolis, MD and Hobe sound, FL, she was a loving wife and mother of four daughters. She was born in Detroit, MI on May 20, 1935 to Ann [Pabst] and Lawrence Singler. She attended Northwestern High School in Hyattsville, MD. Betty raised her family as a stay at home mom and later worked in a medical office in Upper Marlboro, MD. On May 16, 1954, she married Joseph D. Vasco, Jr. They raise four daughters, Lynn, Lisa, Sheryl and Christina. Betty had a passion for doing! She love to paint, knit, crochet, sew and ceramics. She loved her pets, traveling and golfing. She was self-taught plumbing and electrical work and could literally fix anything. She was an avid collector of fine china and Royal Dalton porcelain. She was known for her big laugh and her bigger whistle. She was the cornerstone of her large and vibrant family and will be missed dearly. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her granddaughter Stephanie. She is survived by her husband Joe, their four children, Lynn Bernardon (Michael), Lisa McClintock (David), Sheryl (Joe) Carmody and Christina Williams, her sister Pat Moffitt and brother Larry Singler, sister-in-law Roseann Schneider, 10 grandchildren, 4 great and one great-great grandchild, along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Family invites friends to Lee Funeral Home Calvert, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736 on Saturday, December 21 from 3 pm until start of a Celebration of Life at 5 pm.
