Elizabeth J. D' Agostino

Elizabeth Jane D’Agostino, also known as Betty, Mrs. D, Momma and Grammy passed peacefully at home surrounded by family on Saturday December 21, 2024. Betty was born in Washington D.C on August 26,1944 to the late Harvey and Henrietta Burke.

Betty is predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Anthony D’ Agostino, and her parents Harvey and Henrietta Burke. She is survived by her son Frank Chillemi (Bobbi) and their two daughters Erin Mowery and Leigh Connelly. Her youngest son Philip D’ Agostino (Jennifer) and their seven children, Nick, Lilly, Sonny, Evy, Vinny, Alyssa, Trey. And their two great grandchildren Harper and Journyee.

Early in life, Betty was a beautician but in the year 1985 she started to work for Calvert County Board of Education. She later retired from Beach Elementary School in 2013 where she also met Dr. Mike Shisler and Wanda Riffe who she considered family.

Betty was loved by many, and she could make you laugh at anything. Her favorite things to do were watching Hallmark movies and playing computer games. She will be missed very dearly; may the dancing queen live on.
