Elizabeth Catherine Smith

Elizabeth C. Smith passed away in her home in Lothian, MD on February 8, 2024 joining her parents Carl and Dorothea her sister Deborah and Grandparents in their eternal home. 

She is survived by her two children Heather and Joseph. Her grandchildren Aidyn and Arielle. Her sister Stephanie. Three nephews Buster, Jason, and Michael Jr. One niece Marie. Her two brother in law’s Basil and Michael. 

She was born on August 22, 1952. She resided in Hyattsville, MD.  She later married and lived in Burlington, NJ and Port Charlotte, FL. where she was a devoted mother to her family. In 1995, she moved back to Maryland with her children. She then became a paraprofessional for Prince George County Public Schools. She devoted her time to helping children with special needs.

She was a loyal friend to many. She will be greatly missed by all those who have met her. 

A Funeral Service will be held at Lee Funeral Home Calvert, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736 on Monday, February 19, 2024 at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at Southern Memorial Gardens, 10155 Ward Road, Dunkirk, MD 20754.
