Emory Pratt

Emory ‘Duck’ Pratt, 79, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2023, after a short illness.

Emory was born on October 27, 1943, to the late Alice Pratt and James Pratt, Sr. He was born and raised in Washington, D.C. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy and later went on to retire from the U.S. Postal Service. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 35 years, Irene Pratt, two daughters, Roslyne ‘Cholly’ Turner (Derrick), Thresa Dare, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
