Eric William Reynolds

Eric William Reynolds a.k.a. Iggy of Chesapeake Beach was born on April 22, 1971, to Evelyn and Larry Reynolds. He passed away May 23, 2023, at his home with his loving wife and family at his side. Eric was raised in Laurel, Maryland with his two brothers Larry Garner and Jeremiah Reynolds. He was blessed with two children Ashleigh and Justin Reynolds by his former wife Billie Jean Edwards. He later reunited with and married Stephanie Chaney Reynolds. Eric was a talented bass player, playing in several local bands for many years. Music was in his soul and bass in his blood. He is survived by his mom Evelyn Swanner Reynolds, dad Larry Reynolds and his wife Janet. His loving wife Stephanie, daughter Ashleigh Athen (Andrew), son Justin Reynolds, grandson Tucker, James and Bryce Athen and brothers Larry Garner and Jeremiah Reynolds (Kristen).

He is also survived by his mother-in-law Carol Chaney, Godfather Mike Landrum (Sallie), many aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers and sister’s in-law nieces and nephews. Eric was a loving servant to our Lord Jesus Christ and a truly amazing husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. He will be missed tremendously by his family, friends, band brothers and work family as well as his four faithful felines.

The family will receive friends at Lee Funeral Home Calvert, P.A., 8200 Jennifer Lane Owings, MD 20736 from 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, with funeral services directly after. Internment will immediately follow at Southern Memorial Gardens, 10155 Ward Road, Dunkirk Maryland 20759 commencing at 2:00 PM.
