Erna M. Jennings1936 - 2014Erna M. Jennings, 77, of Capitol Heights, MD on Friday February 28, 2014 in Washington, DC. Born in Halifax County, VA she was a daughter of the late Kitt and Effie (Boyd) Barksdale. She was married to the late Edward C. Jennings who preceded her in death in 1989. Prior to retirement she worked at Best Products as a stock clerk. She enjoyed doing word search puzzle books, talking with her sisters, and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed a good football game and when it came to baseball she enjoyed watching both the Nationals and the Orioles play. She leaves behind to cherish her memory twin daughters, Janell and Janella Jennings, three sisters, Minnie Slayton, Martha Farmer, and Linda Barksdale, along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
