Evan Clark was born in Paterson, New Jersey on August 13, 1923, to Ruth and John Clark. \n \nEvan entered the Army after graduating from high school. During World War II, he was stationed in Morocco, Turkey and at Andrews Air Force Base. During his lifetime, Evan lived in New England, New Hampshire and Florida. His children were born while living in New England and Florida.\n \nAfter retiring from the Air force, Evan taught X-Ray Technology at Prince Georges Community College for twenty years. He also was a volunteer at Mt. Harmony Elementary School for ten years. Evan enjoyed model railroading and collecting replica eastern seaboard lighthouses. At home, he was an avid reader and especially enjoyed learning about U.S. History. He loved to spend time and lend a helping hand at the Fairview Library where he will be greatly missed by his librarian friends. Over the last few years, he enjoyed working out with his friends and the staff of Calvert Physical Therapy.\n \nEvan was formerly married to Alice Clark.
