Evelyn I. Simmons

Evelyn I. Simmons, 81, of Clinton, MD, formerly of Capitol Heights, MD died Sunday September 18, 2011 at Southern Maryland Hospital, Clinton, MD. Born in Washington DC she was a daughter of the late John and Ida Bryce. She worked in the human resources department of the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare. Survivors include two sons, Michael K. Simmons Sr. and Ronald A. Simmons, a brother George O. Bryce, five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.\nA visitation will be held on Thursday September 22, 2011 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at The First Baptist Church, 4000 Wallace Road, North Brentwood, MD followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM with the Rev.
