Frances Elaine McClenahan

Frances Elaine McClenahan, 76 of Dunkirk, Maryland passed away March 19, 2022.  She was born January 9, 1946 in Morgantown, WV to Magnus Stilwell and Evelyn (Dellinger) Stilwell.  Fran grew up in Pitcairn, PA and moved to Maryland when she was 24.  Fran graduated from Gateway High School in Monroeville, PA and went on to get a B.S. degree from Slippery Rock University.  Tim McClenahan married Frances Stilwell in 1968.  She taught Physical Education in Prince George’s County for 30 years.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching her grandchildren laugh, boating, hosting seafood dinners, watching the Hallmark channel and going to Ocean City.

Frances is survived by her loving husband of 52 years Tim McClenahan, son Timothy McClenahan and his wife Andrea, grandchildren Rebecca Elizabeth McClenahan and Timothy Joseph McClenahan,  brothers Larry Stilwell and Richard Stilwell (deceased) and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
