Francis “Alvin” Beall passed away peacefully on October 30, 2018 at Southern Maryland Hospital with his beloved wife (Eleanor) and brother in law (Jim) at his bedside. Alvin was born on April 10, 1943 to the late Francis and Elsie Beall at Providence Hospital in Washington, DC. Alvin was a member of the U.S. Army National Guard for six years, worked for 45 years as a heavy equipment operator (Mandley Excavating and Facchani Construction) and was a life time farmer on his family farm in Nottingham, Maryland. Alvin enjoyed listening to country music. His favorite song was Kissing Angel Good Morning by Charlie Pride. Along with his wife Eleanor, he is survived by two sisters Joan Black (Alex) and Phyllis Trexler (Jim), three step children, three grandchildren, five great grandsons with one on the way, three nieces, three nephews, great uncle to two nieces, great uncle to 10 nephews, many cousins, aunts, uncles, special friends and neighbors. Alvin is preceded in death by his brother Larry (Patricia) A Celebration of Life will be held at Lee Funeral Home located at 6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Landing Road Clinton Maryland at a date to be determined. An inurnment ceremony will follow the Celebration of Life, it will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church located at 14300 Saint Thomas Church Road Upper Marlboro, Md. 20772.
