Francis Eugene Stauffer

Francis Eugene Stauffer age 94 from Temple Hills, MD, passed peacefully on May 21, 2014. Francis was born in York, PA on November 23, 1919 to the late Mary (Shank) and Willis Stauffer. He was honorably discharged from the US Army after serving his country during World War II. Francis was married for 60 years to his wife, Theda (Miller) Stauffer, who died in 2007. Francis worked for Metropolitan Edison Power Company in Pennsylvania and the Department of the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his loving daughters, Dawn Miller (Tom) of Oak Park, VA, Gayle Payne (Mark) of Hillsborough, NC and son, Dane Stauffer of Temple Hills, MD. Also survived by his dear grandchildren, Christopher Miller, Steven Miller, James Miller, Eric Miller, Samantha Kestner, Sarah Payne, Martha Payne, Hannah Payne and Daniel Stauffer. Great-grandfather of Emily Miller, Kaila Miller, Jacob Hebert, Fiyori Miller, Kobe Miller, Britt Miller, Jacob Kestner, and Annessa Stauffer.
