Frank Michael Edinger

EDINGER, FRANK MICHAEL "Mike" Frank Michael Edinger, formerly of Lanham, MD passed away Monday morning, September 2, 2019, at Anne Arundel Medical Center, Annapolis, MD. Born June 6, 1941, in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Frank Joseph and Bertha Gertrude Stewart Edinger. He graduated from Northwestern High School, Class of 1959. He resided in Upper Marlboro, MD since 1991. Mike was an avid Redskins fan and enjoyed working on cars, fishing, playing cards and horseshoes. His wife, Patricia Mae Edinger passed away on September 14, 1999 after 37 years of marriage. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Ralph Edinger. Surviving are son, Paul Edinger and wife, Loren, of Owings, MD; daughter, Karen Skirchak and husband Rick, of Owings, MD; and son Scott Edinger of Dunkirk, MD. He is also survived by five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, September 6 at Lee Funeral Home, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, Maryland. A Christian service will be held at Lee Funeral Home on Saturday, September 7, at 10 am. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD.
