Fred E. Robinson Jr.

Fred Edward Robinson Jr. of Brandywine, MD died on December 31, 2016 at the age of 85. Born in Mifflintown, PA the son of the late Mildred P. Zeiders Robinson and Fred Edward Robinson Sr. Fred grew up in Mifflintown, PA and graduated from Juniata Joint High School. At age 20, he was inducted into the US Army. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and honorably discharged in 1954. Fred continued to serve his country for another 6 years in the Army Reserves. He eventually moved to Prince George’s county and settled down with a family. He worked in construction most of the time, independently. The one passion in his life was hunting. Beloved husband of the late Peggy Ann Brady Robinson; devoted father of Gary Robinson of Statesville, NC, S. Gail McKenny (Ron) of Owings, MD and the late Thomas Gregory Robinson; stepfather of James Kenneth Brady (Robin) of Mechanicsville, MD; dear brother of Donald Eugene Robinson, Robert Earl Robinson and the late Ruth Earlene Cumers. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
