Frederick M. Thompson

Frederick M. “Buzz” Thompson,86, of Clinton, MD passed on Thursday March 20, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was a veteran of the US Navy. He was the Human Resources Director for Woodward & Lothrop Department Store in Washington, DC for thirty seven years retiring in 1992. He enjoyed watching the Nationals & Redskins, and spending time with family. He is survived by a brother Douglas H. Thompson (Julia), three nieces, Catherine Smith (David), Elizabeth Timms, and Karen Thompson, a nephew Christopher Thompson (Rebecca) along with several great nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Monday March 24, 2014 from 4-6PM at Lee Funeral Home, Branch Ave. and Coventry Way, Clinton, MD. Services will be Tuesday in the funeral home chapel at 11:00AM.
