Garland M. Curls1924 - 2013"Gary"Garland M. "Gary" Curles, 88, of Sykesville, MD, formerly of Fort Washington, MD died on Wednesday February 6, 2013 at his residence. Born in Washington, DC he was a son of the late Noland S. and Annie M. (Melson) Curles. He was married to the late Gertrude Curles who preceded him in death in October 2003. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He worked for many years as a CPA for Washington Gas.He enjoyed playing golf, skiing, and reading his Bible. He was very active in his church as both an Elder and an Usher.He is survived by a brother James P. Curles (Earnestine) along with several nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers contributions in his name may be made to Oxon Hill Lutheran Church or the Carroll County Hospice.
