Gary "Slimmy" Castleman

Gary A. Castleman “Slimmy” of Clinton, MD died on February 11, 2018 at the age of 60. Born in Akron, Ohio to Alice Worden Castleman Worden and Harry Allen Castleman. Gary led a simple life. He loved his family and cherished relationships he had with countless friends. He worked with Complete Building Services for 37 years. The last 5 years he was with NVE. Gary was an Honorary Life Member of the Sons of American Legion Squadron 259; a member for 43 years and Commander numerous times. He also tended bar and shared good times with Legion members. Also a Life Member of Veterans of Foreign War Auxiliary Post 9376 and a Member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 126. Gary looked forward to his role as “House Captain” each year for the PG County “Christmas in April”. Gary also enjoyed camping, fishing and golf. Beloved husband of Anne Richards of Clinton, MD; Loving father of Lorie Marie Rickett and her husband “Boots” Thomas Rickett of Owings, MD; Dear grandfather of Riley and Beau Rickett; Dear brother of Debbie Williams and her husband Bill Williams of Mukwonago, WI and Patricia Schultz and husband Earl Schultz of Brillion, WI.
