Gary Matthew Mullen

Gary M. Mullen, age 47 of Owings, Maryland passed away Monday, September 21, 2009 at the Calvert Memorial Hospital, Prince Frederick, Maryland. He is survived by his wife of 18 years Theresa Mullen and his children, Anita Pilson and her husband Thomas, David Mullen, his wife Annette, Samantha Mullen, and Matthew Mullen. He is PapPaw to Joshua nad Jacob Mullen. He is also survived by two sisters, Amy Fonner and Debbie Rey, a brother, Bernie Mullen and numerous other family and friends. \nMr. Mullen lived in the Owings area over 18 years and was employed by Bay Area Disposal Service over 7 years. He was a member and Elder at Chesapeake Church, Sunderland, Maryland and was very active in various activities at the church including the Drama ministries, Rainbow week and working with the youth ministries. He was pursuing a carrer in the Ministry and had completed some courses of study hoping to become ordained. His hobbies included playing golf, walking along the beach, playing the piano, swimming, crabbing and working outreach ministries for the homeless.
