Gary Joseph Murray Sr.

Born on October 10th 1961 to Sarah Elizabeth and Francis Murray Jr.  Entered eternal life on March 24th 2022. He was born in Washington, D.C., survived by his children Melissa Puffenbarger, (James Puffenbarger Jr), Gary Murray Jr., Ashley Murray, Brandon Murray, and Dustin Murray. His Grandchildren Kyle Murray and Makaila Puffenbarger. His sisters Debra Nobbs (Daniel Nobbs), and Donna Murray (Ted Pomeroy).                 

 Gary was an HVAC technician for most of his life . He worked for Cropp-Metcalfe, Charles County Board of Education and owner of Murray Metals. He was a good, strong, and humble man. He was a family man, enjoyed the outdoors, eating crabs, enjoyed good food whenever he could, and huge fan of Batman. His sense of humor would make you smile (even if they were corny or inappropriate jokes). He loved his family and attending Church of Christ. He was always helping friends and family and then passed the trade down to his youngest son Dustin.  

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Gary's life  at Christ Church 112 Charles Street La Plata, MD 20646 on Saturday April 16th where a memorial service will be held at 10am.
