Gary Whitmore

Gary Wayne Whitmore Sr age 78 of Southern, MD died February 05, 2025, at Southern Maryland Hospital in Clinton, MD. He was the son of Raymond Washington Whitmore, Sr and Mildred Clark Whitmore. of Hopewell VA.

Gary was a Veteran of three branches of service, The United States Army, Navy, and Airforce with honorable discharge as Sgt. He spent some of his service time in Germany. After service he worked as a Pipefitter and Asbestos Remover for DOD, at the Washington Navy Yard in D.C.

He loved to fish and go camping. He also loved his beloved pets. They were by his side up to the end keeping him company. 

He is survived by his wife of 42 yrs Joe Ann Whitmore, Raymond Washington Whitmore, Jr., Melton Eugene Whitmore, 

Nancy Carol Baker(Whitmore) and two children Gary Whitmore Jr, and Marlenio Whitmore, and a host of more family and friends.
