George Franklin Beck, Jr., age 72, of Dunkirk, Maryland, died on April 6, 2011, at Washington Hospital Center surrounded by his loving family.\nGeorge was born on June 10, 1938, in Washington, DC to George and Henrietta Beck, Sr.\nFor 51 years, he was the beloved husband of Jeri Beck. George was the loving father of Dave and his wife, Kristy; and George and his wife, Kristen Beck. He was the devoted grandfather of Matthew, Lauren, Hannah, Carly and Lily; and brother of Betty and Gail.\nIn 1995, he retired from the Association of American Railroads as a Statistical Analyst. In 1997, George and Jeri moved to Dunkirk.\nGeorge loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, crabbing and boating.
