George G. Helmondollar

George G. Helmondollar, 75, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at his home in Brandywine, MD. George was born in Tazewell, VA to the late Walter and Mary Helmondollar. He is survived by his wife Pamela [Boice] Helmondollar, sons Keith (Caroline) and Robert (Kim), grandchildren Christy, Robert Jr. and Christopher, great-granddaughter Royal and his sister Vivian Robinette. George was preceded in death by his siblings Evelyn Dale, Wanda Detoto and Walter, Jr. After serving honorably in the United States Marine Corps from 1961 - 1965, George made his home in Maryland where he joined the Prince Georges County Police Department in 1966. He retired as Captain and Commander of the Clinton Police District in 1988.
