George W. Kennedy

George W. Kennedy of Owings, MD, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at the age of 93. He was born in Pulaski, VA, to Cannie (Harold) and C. S. Kennedy. George was a veteran of WWII, serving in the U. S. Army. He was a brick mason for many years and enjoyed a number of hobbies, which included – hunting, fishing, playing golf and was an avid Washington Redskins fan. He was the beloved husband of the late Lottie Marie Kennedy, who passed in 1979. George was the loving father of Crystal Ridgeway (Bill), Candy Rayle (Don) and Steve Kennedy (Karen). He was the devoted grandfather of Shane Ridgeway, Shannon Kingsbury, Chase and Tyler Kennedy, Crystal, Michael and Ashley Zorn. He was the great-grandfather of Caiden, Rylan, Olivia, Logan, Roman, Alaina, Lauren, Ella and Hudson.
