George William Maske Jr.

 

 

George William Maske, 60, of Waldorf, Maryland, passed peacefully with his family by his side. 

George was born on July 28, 1962, in Cheverly, Maryland, to Vesta and George Maske Sr.

 

George owned his own roofing business for over 30 years. He had a love for betting on race horses and even owned his own. He often locally raced at Rosecroft Raceway.

George loved a good game of Texas Hold’em whether it be with friends monthly or daily at the local casino. 

In his younger years he loved being outdoors; hunting, fishing, out on the boat, & crabbing. 

Most of all he loved playing with his grandchildren and spending time with family.

 

George joins in heaven his mother Vesta Maske and father George Maske Sr.

 

He is survived by his wife Tina of 39 1/2 years, his children   William “Mike” Maske Sr & Traci Maske, grandchildren William “Shorty” Maske Jr & Julianna Maske 

Sisters Joanne Jackson, Carole Zamora, Lois Woodring.

 

George was good natured, he got along with everybody. If you ever came to family events at the house you probably heard the “you don’t have to go home, but you got to get out of here” speech. George's memory will always be cherished by all who knew him.

Family and friends are welcome to gather at Lee Funeral Home, Inc. 6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Rd, Clinton MD on Sunday, April 23, from 2pm - 4pm and 6pm - 8pm. Funeral services will be held at Lee Funeral Home on Monday, April 24, 2023 at 11:00am with burial immediately following at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
