Georgia Dean Miller

Georgia D. Miller, age 77 of St. Leonard, Maryland formerly of Greenbelt, Maryland passed away Saturday, October 3, 2009 at her home with her family by her side. She was preceeded in death by her husband James V. Miller. Born in Centre, Alabama in 1931 to the late James M. and Sarah Haggard Freeman, she moved to Washington, DC to work for the FBI in the early 1950's. Later she met her husband and was married in 1956. Her three blessings were her husband and two daughters Bridget and Deborah. Mrs. Miller retired from Trinity College in 1996 and moved to Calvert County to be with her daughter in 1999. She loved animals, flower gardening, puzzles and was an avid Redskins fan. Mrs. Miller was also known by the Buehler's Market shoppers of St. Leonard as the supplier of "Georgia's Goodies", but she will be remembered by many as the one who left foot prints on their hearts. She is survived by her daughters Bridget D. Quidley and her husband William, Deborah L. Fleshman and her husband Donald Fleshman, Jr. Sister of the late Hoyt Freeman and grandmother of Donald C. III, Shannon L., Ricky L. Fleshman and Angela D. Quidley. Great Grandmother of Brittany D., and Donald C. IV, Jaden M. Fleshman, Tyler W. and Jayme L. Sepulveda.\n \nFuneral services will be held at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 11:00 am with the Reverend Jerry Headly officiating.
