Gerald R. Rapson

Rapson\n \nGerald R. Rapson\n \n Born in Joliet, Illinois on Dec. 19, 1933 to Percy and Dorothy Rapson. He and his wife resided in Temple Hills, MD for over 50 years. Gerald passed away on Dec. 21, 2011 in LaPlata, MD. He was the beloved husband of Gilda DiZebba Rapson; Loving father of Gerald Thomas Rapson, Michael Rapson, Gemma (Michael) Bucci of Dunkirk, MD and Dottie (Steve) Youngerman of Chesapeake Beach, MD, Devoted Grandfather of Cristina, Gianna, Gemma (Josh), Matthew and Alex. Brother of Jane Rapson, Susan (David) Lockwood, Timothy Rapson and the late Terry Rapson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Gerald served his country in the United States Navy. He was a past Master of Masonic Lodge # 218 and a member of the Almas Temple Shrine of Washington DC. Friends will be received Monday, Dec. 26, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Lee Funeral Home Calvert, P.A. 8200 Jennifer Lane (Route 4 and Fowler Road) Owings, MD; where funeral services will be held Tues, Dec. 27, 2011 at 11:00 AM.
