GERALDINE (Gerry) LUCILLE FOX

November 25, 1928 - January 5, 2024

Geraldine Lucille Fox, age 95, of Chesapeake Beach, MD, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter Cherylann after a brief illness on January 5, 2024. Born in Newport News, VA, on November 25, 1928, she was daughter of the late Charles and Josephine Bishop.

Gerry dedicated her whole life to her family as a loving and caring homemaker. A woman of faith and devout member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Gerry spent a lot of her time at the North Beach Senior Center participating in line dancing, aerobics, playing bingo and lunch with her many friends. She loved sitting on her porch, tending to her many flower beds and enjoying coffee and chocolate with her loved ones. Gerry was loving, caring, kind hearted and loved by all who met her. She was the most selfless woman and cherished by any one blessed with her presence.

Gerry was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George William Fox Jr. (2008) and her siblings Jeanette Nevins and James Bishop. She is survived by her six children Vickie Wachter (Don), Billy Fox (Stephanie), Cathy Vaughn (Dickie) Kenney Fox (Juanita), Deborah Schreiner (Tab) and Cheryl Ann Owen (George) and her 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received at Lee Funeral Home Calvert, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736 on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm and 5:00 - 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Chapel, 7604 S. Osbourne Road, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772 on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Lakemont Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 900 West Central Avenue, Davidsonville, MD 21035.
