Geraldine “Gerry” N. Hall

Geraldine N. Hall, 93, of Lothian, MD passed away on January 2, 2021. She was born on February 2, 1927 in Washington, D.C. Geraldine graduated from Maryland Park High School in 1944. She retired from the Personnel Department of the Small Business Administration for the United States Government in Washington, D.C. on June 29, 1973 after 29 years. She was the beloved wife of the late William Hall for 53 years. Geraldine is survived by her loving children; William “Bill” Hall (Linda) of Charlotte, NC, and Brenda DeFelice (Joseph) of St. Leonard, MD. Brother, Clayton Nelson (Carol Jean) of Gambrills, MD and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Geraldine was preceded in death by her mother Daisy Carrick, step-father, Edmond “Chick” Carrick, brother, Joseph Nelson, sister Marian “Dolly” Hutchins, granddaughter Tracy Lynn Pruitt. Her passion for life and love for her family were an inspiration to all those who loved her. The family will receive friends at Lee Funeral Home Calvert, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736 on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM where a Funeral Service will held at 12:00 PM in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 4111 Pennsylvania Avenue, Suitland, MD 20746. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to The Salvation Army. NEW GUIDELINES FOR ATTENDING VISITATION / SERVICES. - 50 to 75 people max at any given time in Funeral Home. - Limit visitation to 15 minutes in visitation room to allow for others to express their condolences. - Funeral Services in Chapel limited to 70 people with four (4) people per pew. - Masks and six foot social distancing still applies.
