Gilda DiZebba Rapson passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at the age of 88. She was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Fioravante and Gemma DiZebba. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Rapson; devoted mother to Gerald (Tommy) and Michael Rapson, Gemma Bucci (Michael) and Dorothy Youngerman. She was the most loving grandmother to Gemma Smith (Josh), Cristina Rayle (Sergio Lazo), Matthew and Alex Youngerman, Gianna Bucci, and great-grandmother to Natalie and Cooper Smith. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased in death by her son-in-law Stephen Youngerman, her six siblings, Geaton, Michael and Rita DiZebba, Elizabeth Latini, Marie Earnshaw, Gloria Kendall and brother-in-law Terry Rapson. Gilda is also survived by her brother and sisters-in-law, Timothy and Jane Rapson, David and Susan Lockwood, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Gilda’s biggest joy was her family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family, traveling, and many summers at the beach. Her family invites all to celebrate her beautiful life at Lee Funeral Home Calvert, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736, on Monday, November 25th from 4 to 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Covenant Community of Jesus the Good Shepherd, 1601 West Mt. Harmony Road, Owings, MD, on Tuesday, November 26th at 10 am. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Road, Clinton, MD 20735.
