Glenda A. Banner

Glenda Ann Banner, of Forestville, MD passed on January 9, 2018 at the age of 65. Born in Washington, DC the daughter of Jency Garrett Ross and John Morgan Ross. Glenda attended and graduated from Margaret Murray Washington School, also known as the M.M. Washington Career High School. Right out of high school, Glenda went to work for the VA Medical Center as a Billing & Coding Supervisory Manager. She retired in December 2016. A strong, intelligent and independent young woman would characterize Glenda. Her accomplishments in life demonstrated an enduring practice of taking responsibility, working hard and remaining resilient through whatever came her way. She valued her family and friends and enjoyed dancing, and traveling. Beloved Mother of Godwin L. Banner, Nakishia A.
