Grace J. Carruth

Grace J. Carruth age 88, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013 at the Calvert County Nursing Center, Prince Frederick, Maryland. Mrs. Carruth was the wife of over 45 years of the late James Carruth who passed away in 1990. She is the mother of Robert Gordon and his wife Linda, Frances Finstad and her late husband Clem, Thomas Carruth, his wife Barbara, Joan Snyder and her husband Robert, Jane Taylor and her late husband Bob, Gail Wells and her husband Bob, Susan Pietrucha and her husband David. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Mrs. Carruth lived in Morningside Maryland most of her life but moved to Calvert County recently to be with her family. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 9619 and Bells United Methodist Church. She loves to cook and sew. She also made beautiful porcelain dolls, but to her family she was always mom and a great great grand Mom.
