GRACE W. MILEY (Woelpper)Died peacefully at the Fenwick Landing Assisted Living in Waldrof, MD.Grace was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Grace Woelpper, sister of the late Albert Woelpper (Ernestine).Grace met and married LTC James W. Miley, USAF, in Japan. She was a secretary with the Defense Department. They moved to Clinton, Maryland in 1960.She enjoyed going out for lunch, shopping, yard sales, reading, especially mysteries, Nature, flowers, feeding the wild birds, muscles, chocolate and the Color Pink. She helped others train their dogs to be well-behaved. Most of all she trained and showed her beloved Labradors. She won many trophies and ribbons.Grace belonged to the Friends for Lunch group in North Clinton, and to the Canine Training Association (CTA).Survivors include her cousins Elain and Nicholas Melair, Nicky, and Eileen Melair, John and Christine Melair. her close friends Catherine Fisher of Brandywine, MD, Ann Truffa of Edgewater, Maryland, Linda Rosas of Hutchinson, Kansas, Sheila Strickland of Clinton, MD, a member of Grace's Caregiving team, Marge and Bill Allen longtime friends and neighbors and part of the Caregiving team. Her extended family, who enriched Grace's life for many years, as "Across the street" neighbors and friends, are Eleanor and Tom Raley. Roger (Maggie) Raley, Debbie and Bill Johnson, Diane and Brian Hoetzleim; most of all Wayne Raley, her devoted caregiver. Grace considered Wayne as her son, she appreciated everthing he did for her. All four Raley children helped Grace at Dog meets, for many years. To quote Wayne"Grace was always there for us"!Following the Service there will be a celebration of her Life at Mama Stella's Restuarant. 7918 Old Branch Ave, Clinton, MD.
